3M™ Fire Barrier Rated Foam FIP 1-Step is a one-part polyurethane-based, smoke, sound, and firestopping foam. It is designed to expand up to 5 times its volume during installation, providing excellent sealing properties for through-penetration firestop systems involving cables, metal pipes, and cable trays. This foam achieves up to 2 hours of fire resistance according to ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC-S115. The foam installs easily with dispenser tools and is re-enterable and repairable, providing long-term flexibility for changes or upgrades to penetrations.
