Sentinel Galvanic Anodes are engineered to provide long-lasting, self-generating cathodic protection for reinforcing steel embedded in concrete. Unlike traditional corrosion control methods, these anodes do not require external power sources, making them a simple yet highly effective solution. They are commonly used where new concrete meets chloride-contaminated concrete, as well as in high-risk environments where corrosion is already present. Consequently, Sentinel anodes help extend the service life of concrete structures while reducing ongoing maintenance costs.
Each anode contains high-purity zinc and delivers a consistent electrical current to the surrounding steel reinforcement.
