3M™ Fire Barrier Moldable Putty Pads MPP+ are one-part, flexible intumescent firestop putty pads designed to seal around electrical outlet boxes, metal pipes, and through-penetrations. These moldable putty pads expand in the presence of heat, helping prevent the passage of flames, smoke, and toxic gases for up to 2 hours in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC-S115. The non-hardening material allows for simple hand-application, easy modifications, and future re-entry without compromising performance.
