ExoAir 120
Fluid-Applied Asphaltic Air and Vapor Barrier
ExoAir® 120 is a monolithic, elastomeric fluid-applied membrane formulated to create a continuous air and vapor barrier across exterior above-grade wall assemblies. Designed to reduce air infiltration/exfiltration, vapor diffusion, and moisture penetration, ExoAir 120 delivers durable performance with reliable adhesion to multiple substrates. The product is available in both spray (SP) and roller (R) grades, offering flexibility during application. Fast-curing capabilities allow installation to continue even in less-than-ideal weather conditions, making it ideal for high-speed commercial construction environments.
Key Benefits of ExoAir 120
- Seamless Coverage: Fluid-applied membrane forms a continuous barrier across varied surfaces.
- Installation Flexibility: Can be roller- or spray-applied based on project needs and substrate conditions.
- Fast Application: Supports accelerated curing when co-sprayed, helping meet project deadlines.
- High Temperature Resistance: Tolerates intermittent exposure up to 158 °F (70 °C).
Common Applications
- Commercial building envelopes
- Rainscreen cladding systems
- Concrete and CMU walls
- Exterior gypsum and plywood sheathing
Packaging & Installation
Available in 5-gallon pails and larger bulk packaging, ExoAir 120 is best applied when ambient and substrate temperatures are above 40 °F (5 °C) and rising. Surface preparation is critical for performance; all substrates must be clean and dry before application. Roller and spray application equipment options allow for jobsite adaptability.
