ExoAir 130
Fluid-Applied Air and Vapor Retarder Membrane
ExoAir® 130 is a monolithic, elastomeric, fluid-applied membrane designed to create a continuous barrier for air and vapor control across above-grade wall assemblies. This synthetic formulation delivers outstanding water resistance, vapor impermeability, and air sealing performance while providing application flexibility. With 12-month UV resistance and intermittent service temperatures up to 158 °F (70 °C), ExoAir 130 is suitable for a wide range of commercial façade systems. The product is NFPA 285 compliant and can be applied using either roller or spray, making it adaptable to varying site conditions and project needs.
Key Benefits of ExoAir 130
- Seamless Protection: Fluid-applied application creates a continuous, joint-free membrane over complex geometries.
- UV Resistant: 12-month resistance to UV exposure supports phased construction workflows.
- NFPA 285 Certified: Passes fire resistance testing for use in wall assemblies requiring compliance.
- High Heat Resistance: Withstands service temperatures up to 158 °F (70 °C).
- Versatile Application: Easily applied with roller or spray equipment for speed and consistency.
Common Applications
- Exterior sheathing and cladding systems
- Commercial rainscreen assemblies
- Concrete or CMU back-up walls
- Exterior-grade plywood and gypsum board
Packaging & Installation
ExoAir 130 is available in pails or drums for large-scale projects. Apply only when ambient and substrate temperatures are above 40 °F (5 °C) and rising. Roller or spray equipment can be used for even coverage. Prior to application, ensure substrates are sound, clean, and properly prepared to ensure maximum adhesion and performance.
