ExoAir LEF
Low-Expansion Joint Insulation Foam
ExoAir LEF is a one-component, moisture-curing, low-expansion polyurethane foam developed to insulate around window and door openings, pipes, joints, and penetrations. With a closed-cell structure, ExoAir LEF delivers long-term thermal resistance and seals out air, water, and noise. Its controlled expansion ensures tight fills without over-compressing adjacent materials. It is ideal for use in conjunction with air barrier systems and can be trimmed and painted after application.
Key Benefits of ExoAir LEF
- Precision Application: Low-pressure expansion prevents warping and overfilling.
- Thermal & Acoustic Insulation: Closed-cell structure provides high R-value and sound control.
- Fast Cure: Skins over quickly, allowing trimming in minutes and painting after full cure.
- Durable Seal: Bonds to a variety of substrates and maintains flexibility with minimal shrinkage.
Common Applications
