Chem Trete PB 100 Penetrating Water Repellent
Protectosil® CHEM TRETE PB 100 is a high-performance, clear, penetrating, and breathable water repellent specifically designed for exterior above-grade concrete masonry units, brick masonry, and most natural stones. This advanced silane-based formulation offers superior resistance to water intrusion, alkali attack, acid rain, and waterborne staining. By penetrating deeply into the substrate and chemically bonding with siliceous materials, it creates a permanent hydrophobic barrier that prevents water and contaminants from entering without altering the natural appearance of the treated surface.

Common Applications
This product is ideal for protecting porous masonry substrates such as split-face block, fluted block, and other textured CMU surfaces. It is also highly effective on treated and untreated brick masonry, sandstone, terra-cotta, Saint Joe brick, and most natural stones. Applications include preventing moisture ingress in both new and existing construction, protecting reinforcing steel from corrosion, and minimizing the buildup of dirt and pollutants. Its breathable formulation ensures that moisture vapor can escape, reducing the risk of trapped moisture, blushing, and freeze-thaw damage.
Packaging & Shelf Life
Available in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums, Chem Trete PB 100 should be stored in its original unopened container in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months under proper storage conditions. Protect from freezing and excessive heat.
