Protectosil AQUA-TRETE EM
Protectosil AQUA-TRETE EM is a penetrating, waterborne, vapor-permeable silane/siloxane emulsion designed to protect concrete, brick, concrete masonry units, and natural stone. As a ready-to-use, low-VOC solution, it chemically bonds to siliceous materials in the substrate, forming a permanent water-repellent barrier. This prevents the ingress of water and contaminants, reducing deterioration from efflorescence, scaling, corrosion of reinforcing steel, mildew, and other damage caused by moisture and environmental exposure. Unlike solvent-based alternatives, Protectosil AQUA-TRETE EM maintains full moisture vapor transmission, preventing issues like sealer blushing or freeze–thaw damage, making it ideal for sensitive projects and VOC-restricted regions.
